First appearance : The Incredible Hulk #180–181 (1974)
Len Wein created Wolverine in The Incredible Hulk #180–181 (1974, art by John Romita Sr. and Herb Trimpe), then relaunched the X-Men in 1975 with Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus — the team that conquered the world. The gruff Canadian became Marvel's most popular character.
