A word about the founder
Jordan Cohen, a French-Moroccan Jew, has admired Jewish exceptionalism since childhood — and grew up enduring a great deal of antisemitism. He has always sought to understand how such a small community could have so disproportionate and so qualitative an impact on the world, while suffering, everywhere and in every era, persecution, forced conversions, discrimination, expulsions, dispossession, pogroms and genocide. The more the world hates Jews and Israel, the stronger and more determined we become. No other minority on Earth has endured so much violence, for so long and in so many places, and yet remained faithful to its beliefs, its God, its community, its rites and its values — while also contributing actively to the advancement of humanity, and keeping plenty of humour along the way!
