Kalonymus ben Kalonymus was a Provençal Jewish philosopher and one of the most prolific translators of the Middle Ages, rendering many Arabic works of science, mathematics, medicine and philosophy into Hebrew and Latin and helping transmit that learning to Christian Europe. He is also remembered for his Hebrew satire 'Even Bohan.' He was a Jewish scholar of the distinguished Kalonymos family of southern France.
