Anthony Pratt

Anthony Pratt was born in Melbourne in 1960 to Richard and Jeanne Pratt, Polish Jewish immigrants; he is Jewish, gave the proceeds of his bar mitzvah to build an estate in Kerem Maharal in Israel, and was named among the Jerusalem Post's fifty most influential Jews in 2021. He took the family's box-making firm to the United States in 1991 and built Pratt Industries into America's fifth-largest corrugated packaging maker, running entirely on recycled paper; with Visy in Australia the group is the largest privately owned packaging and recycling business in the world, and he has been named Australia's richest person more than once.
