Al Jaffee was an American cartoonist, best known as the creator of MAD magazine's back-cover 'Fold-In' (from 1964) and the feature 'Snappy Answers to Stupid Questions'. Guinness World Records recognized him for the longest career as a comic artist. He was the son of Jewish immigrants from Zarasai, Lithuania, and spent part of his childhood in a Lithuanian shtetl before returning to the United States.
