Włodzimierz Holsztyński

Wlodzimierz Holsztynski is a Polish-born mathematician and computer scientist who earned his doctorate at the University of Warsaw under Karol Borsuk and worked across topology, statistical mechanics, and computing, where he is credited with inventing the Geometric-Arithmetic Parallel Processor. He later worked in the United States. He is listed among noted Jewish computer scientists; general biographies say little about his religious background.
