How & why
The Marx Brothers were an American comedy team of five siblings - Chico (1887-1961), Harpo (1888-1964), Groucho (1890-1977), Gummo (1892-1977) and Zeppo (1901-1979). They were born to a Jewish immigrant family in New York City; their mother Minnie was daughter of the entertainer Levy family, and their uncle was vaudevillian Al Shean.
