Tal Rabin is a cryptographer whose work on secure multiparty computation, threshold cryptography and proactive security became foundational to the field; she long led IBM's cryptography group and received the 2023 Dijkstra Prize. She is Israeli-American and the daughter of computer scientist Michael O. Rabin. She is Jewish.
