How & why
Roy Radner was an American micro-economic theorist at UC Berkeley, Bell Labs and NYU Stern whose work reshaped the theory of general equilibrium under uncertainty, bounded rationality, teams and the economics of organizations. A past president of the Econometric Society, he was elected to the National Academy of Sciences. Born to a Jewish family of Eastern European immigrants, he was of Jewish heritage.
