Ronnen Harary

Ronnen Harary was born to a Jewish family in South Africa on 1 March 1971 and moved to Canada at five, growing up in Toronto. Just out of the University of Western Ontario he and his childhood friend Anton Rabie put ten thousand dollars into a company they called Spin Master; the first product, Earth Buddy, was a head of grass seed in a stocking. They were co-chief executives until 2021 and built one of the largest toy companies in the world — Air Hogs, Bakugan, Hatchimals, and since 2016 Melissa & Doug — and he co-created PAW Patrol, a preschool series now shown in 160 countries. His foundation supports public space in Jerusalem and Toronto and scholarships for students with learning disabilities.
