Rick Hoffman

Rick Hoffman is an American actor, born in New York City in 1970 and raised in Roslyn Heights, on Long Island. He played the lawyer Louis Litt in the USA Network legal drama Suits (2011-2019) and reprised the role in the spin-off Suits LA, after regular parts in The Bernie Mac Show and Samantha Who?. The documented basis of his Jewish identity is his upbringing in a Jewish family on Long Island, as reported in his biography, and his own words in a 2017 interview, in which he described himself as "your typical Jewish kid from Long Island".
