Michael Gaster

Michael Gaster is a British experimental aerodynamicist and Fellow of the Royal Society, professor at City, University of London, renowned for foundational work on boundary-layer instability and the laminar-to-turbulent transition of flows, including the 'Gaster transformation' relating temporal and spatial growth rates. He received the Ludwig-Prandtl-Ring in 2010. His scientific record is documented, but public biographies do not state a religious or ethnic identity, so no Jewish identity is asserted here.
