Marvin Goldstein

Marvin E. Goldstein is an American applied mathematician and Chief Scientist emeritus at NASA's Glenn Research Center whose theoretical work on aeroacoustics and rapid distortion theory advanced the understanding and prediction of jet noise; his textbook 'Aeroacoustics' became a standard reference, and he received the American Physical Society's Otto Laporte Award in 1997.
