Mark Nelkin

Mark Samuel Nelkin was an American theoretical physicist who earned his PhD at Cornell under Hans Bethe and became a leading contributor to the theory of fluid turbulence, particularly the scaling and intermittency of turbulent flows; he taught at Cornell and later New York University.
