Isaac ibn Ghayyat was a Spanish rabbi, poet, liturgist and Talmudist of the Golden Age of Jewish culture in Muslim Spain, head of the yeshiva of Lucena. He was a rabbinic Jew who composed a large body of piyyutim (liturgical poems), many still used in Sephardic prayer, and wrote works on Jewish law. He was a mentor within a circle that helped transmit rabbinic learning and Hebrew poetry in Andalusia.
