Howard Shore

Shore, a Canadian Jewish composer, is one of the most acclaimed film composers of his era. He wrote the epic musical scores for Peter Jackson's 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy, winning three Academy Awards, and built an enormous leitmotif-based symphonic world for Middle-earth. His decades-long collaboration with director David Cronenberg and scores for films such as 'The Silence of the Lambs' further established his range.
