Henry Rosovsky

Henry Rosovsky was an American economic historian and, as longtime dean of Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, one of the most influential figures in modern American higher education. A specialist in Japanese economic development, he shaped Harvard's core curriculum and wrote widely on the university. Rosovsky was Jewish, born in the Free City of Danzig, and his family emigrated to escape the Nazis.
