Harold Kushner

Kushner is an American applied mathematician and Professor Emeritus at Brown University, known for foundational work on stochastic stability, nonlinear filtering (the Kushner equation) and numerical methods for stochastic control. His research shaped the mathematics underlying control and optimisation under uncertainty.
