Galia Lahav is the Israeli designer who founded the Galia Lahav House of Couture in Tel Aviv in 1984, the first Israeli brand admitted to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Born in 1948 in Pinsk (then in the USSR, today Belarus), she is a Jewish designer who emigrated to Israel as a child and built her house on deep Israeli and Jewish roots.
