Emile Meyerson

Émile Meyerson was a Polish-born French philosopher of science whose 'Identity and Reality' argued that scientific reasoning is driven by a search for identity and causality beyond mere observed regularity, shaping twentieth-century epistemology. Trained as a chemist, he worked outside the university and wrote in French. He was of documented Jewish origin, born into a Jewish family in Lublin.
