Elizabeth Diller is recognized among Jewish contributors to Arts & Literature — Architect of New York's High Line and The Shed; Wolf Prize in Arts (2022)
Born to Jewish parents in Łódź, Poland, Diller emigrated with her family to the United States at age six. Trained at Cooper Union, she co-founded the interdisciplinary studio Diller Scofidio + Renfro, blending architecture with art and performance. Her firm designed some of New York's most influential public spaces — the High Line elevated park and The Shed arts center — and reshaped Lincoln Center and other museums; for this body of work she received the Wolf Prize in the Arts in 2022.
