Elihu Abrahams was an American condensed-matter physicist who, with Anderson, Licciardello and Ramakrishnan, co-authored the 1979 'gang of four' paper on the scaling theory of Anderson localization, a foundational result on how disorder can turn a conductor into an insulator. He spent most of his career at Rutgers University. He was Jewish.
