Edward E. David

Edward E. David Jr. was an American electrical engineer and research leader who served as science advisor to President Richard Nixon and director of the White House Office of Science and Technology from 1970 to 1973. He spent two decades at Bell Telephone Laboratories, rising to executive director for communications research, and later led research at Exxon.
