David Heyman is a British film producer who acquired the rights to the Harry Potter novels and produced all eight films (2001–2011), one of the highest-grossing film series in history, as well as Gravity (2013) and Barbie (2023). He founded the production company Heyday Films. He is the son of producer John Heyman, a Jewish refugee from Nazi Germany, and is Jewish.
