Burton Wendroff

Wendroff is an American applied mathematician at Los Alamos National Laboratory and the University of New Mexico, best known for the Lax–Wendroff method and theorem — with Peter Lax — for numerically solving hyperbolic partial differential equations, a cornerstone of computational fluid dynamics.
