Brad Falchuk was born in Massachusetts to Jewish parents. With Ryan Murphy he co-created Glee (2009), American Horror Story (2011), Scream Queens and Pose (2018) — the last of these carrying the largest cast of transgender actors ever assembled for a scripted series, and telling the story of New York's ballroom culture during the AIDS years. He has been nominated repeatedly for Emmy Awards as writer, director and producer.
