Arthur Roberts

Arthur Roberts was an American physicist whose work extended into early biomedical applications: with physician Saul Hertz he helped develop the use of radioactive iodine to treat thyroid disease, one of the foundational steps of nuclear medicine. He was also known within the physics community as a composer of satirical songs.
