Uri Fink published Sabraman — an Israeli superhero, Star of David on his chest — in 1978, at fifteen, making him the enfant prodige of Israeli comics. His series Zbeng!, launched in the teen weekly Maariv LaNoar in 1987, became the country's most successful comic, and he has drawn, taught and championed Israeli comics ever since, from superhero parody (Super Shlumper) to daily press cartoons.
