Shem Tov ben Isaac Ardutiel, known in Spanish as Santob de Carrión, was a Castilian Jewish rabbi and poet, author of the Proverbios morales, a celebrated collection of moral maxims addressed to King Peter of Castile and a landmark of medieval Spanish literature. He also wrote Hebrew liturgical poetry and prose. He was an observant Jew writing across both cultures.
