Lipot Fejer was a Hungarian mathematician known for foundational work in Fourier analysis, especially Fejer's theorem on the (C,1) summability of Fourier series, which showed that a continuous function's Fourier series is Cesàro-summable to the function. He led a celebrated Budapest school of analysis. He was Jewish.
