How & why
Leo Radom, born in Shanghai to Russian Jewish parents who settled in Sydney in 1947, became one of the world's leading computational quantum chemists. Working with Nobel laureate John Pople, he applied molecular-orbital theory to predict the structures, stabilities and reactions of molecules that are difficult to study experimentally.
