Kenneth Eisenthal

Kenneth B. Eisenthal was an American physical chemist at Columbia University who pioneered ultrafast laser spectroscopy and, especially, second-harmonic and sum-frequency techniques for probing molecules at surfaces and interfaces. Born in New York City, he trained in physics and chemical physics at Harvard. Publicly available biographies do not document a Jewish background, though he appears on community rosters of Jewish chemists.
