Gideon Oberson is an Israeli fashion and swimwear designer, born in Italy in 1943 to a Jewish family that fled to Yugoslavia during World War II and reached Israel when he was a child. Trained in Paris, he opened his Tel Aviv house and, from 1976, built an internationally admired luxury-swimwear label, later serving as chief designer of Gottex (2002-2009).
