Eyal Naveh is recognized among Israeli contributors to Civil Rights & Human Rights — Founder of the MIXER co-working network (2016) and co-founder of Brothers in Arms (2023), whose Civilian Emergency Headquarters became Israel's largest civilian aid effort after 7 October 2023
Origins and early life
Eyal Naveh was born in Haifa on 26 January 1976, grew up in Yavne and served as a combat soldier and commander in Sayeret Matkal, the General Staff reconnaissance unit, where he was still doing reserve duty in 2024.
Work and career
After a degree in law and business administration he became a vice president and board member at Israeli companies including Delek and HOT. In 2016 he founded MIXER, a network of co-working spaces that by 2024 ran six sites in Tel Aviv, Herzliya and Ra'anana for hundreds of high-tech companies, venture funds and independent professionals. In January 2023, after the government presented its judicial reform plan, he founded the reservists' organisation Brothers in Arms with two comrades from Sayeret Matkal, Ron Scherf and Eitan Herzel, and in February 2023 it led a three-day march from Latrun to the Supreme Court.
On the morning of 7 October 2023 the organisation's leaders halted all protest activity and called on reservists to report for duty, and within hours Naveh and his partners had set up a Civilian Emergency Headquarters. It became the largest civilian aid effort of the war, equipping soldiers, helping to find the missing and supporting evacuees, the families of hostages and bereaved families. On 6 June 2024 Reichman University awarded him an honorary doctorate for this work, and in April 2025 the group's volunteers finished rebuilding the first neighbourhood of Kfar Aza made ready for its residents again.
No source states his Jewish identity in so many words, and the biography of an Israeli entrepreneur has little reason to mention it. He is here under the Israeli presumption the site adopted on 7 September 2026 — a Hebrew given name and surname, a life in Israel and a strong attested tie, here his service in Sayeret Matkal and the Israeli company he founded — which is a presumption and not a declaration, and which any contrary source overturns.
