Eugene Jarecki

Eugene Jarecki is an American documentary filmmaker whose 'Why We Fight' (2005) won the Sundance Grand Jury Prize and whose 'The House I Live In' (2012) examined the U.S. war on drugs. His work probes American power, policy and history. He comes from a Jewish family; his father, Henry Jarecki, was a German-born Jewish refugee from Nazism who became a physician and businessman.
