Ashley Tisdale

Ashley Tisdale was born in Monmouth County, New Jersey, in 1985 to a Christian father and a Jewish mother, and was raised, in her words, with "a little bit of both" — her first stage roles were at the county's Jewish Community Center. She reached a mass audience as Maddie Fitzpatrick in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and above all as Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical films, one of the largest phenomena Disney Channel ever produced. Her duet "What I've Been Looking For" was her first Billboard top forty and was certified gold, and her debut album Headstrong entered the Billboard 200 at number five.
