Éva Székely was a Hungarian swimmer and a Holocaust survivor who won Olympic gold in the 200 m breaststroke at Helsinki 1952 and silver at Melbourne 1956. As a Jew she survived the Nazi occupation of Budapest, training in secret, before setting multiple world records. She is a member of the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame.
