Teddy Sagi was born on 14 November 1971 in Tel Aviv, the only child of Ami Sagi, who owned a travel agency, and Lizi, a cosmetician. Playtech, Camden, the billions
In 1999 he founded Playtech, which turned gambling software into an industry and floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2006 at some £550 million. Then came the rest: SafeCharge, the payments house sold to Nuvei in 2019 for 889 million dollars; Camden Market, bought in March 2014 for £490 million, making him one of London's great landlords; and a fortune Forbes put at 7.1 billion dollars in June 2026, between London and Dubai.
The VPN empire
