Shuli Rand is an Israeli actor and musician who wrote and starred in Ushpizin (2004), an acclaimed film set in the Haredi world that won Israeli Academy awards. After becoming a Breslov Hasidic Jew he largely withdrew from secular acting and turned to religious music. He is Jewish and lives an observant, Hasidic life.
