Necro (Ron Raphael Braunstein) is an American underground rapper and producer who pioneered the 'death rap' style, a subgenre he coined for its ultraviolent, horror-influenced lyrics, and founded the independent label Psycho+Logical-Records in 1999. He was born into a Jewish family in Brooklyn, the son of Israeli immigrants of Israeli and Romanian descent. He is the brother of rapper Ill Bill.
