Michiel Huisman

Michiel Huisman was born in Amstelveen in 1981 and was raised Jewish. He came out of Dutch television and film to play Sonny in Treme and Liam McGuinnis in Nashville, then took over the role of Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones from its fourth season, and led Netflix's The Haunting of Hill House as Steven Crain. He also appeared in The Age of Adaline, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, and as an Israeli agent in The Red Sea Diving Resort, the film about the Mossad operation that brought Ethiopian Jews to Israel.
