Michel Boujenah, born to a Tunisian Jewish family in Tunis, moved to France as a child and became a popular comedian, actor and stage performer. He won the César Award for Best Supporting Actor for Coline Serreau's Trois hommes et un couffin (1985). His one-man shows often draw on his North African Jewish upbringing.
