How & why
Louis Kentner was a Hungarian-British classical pianist admired as a leading interpreter of Liszt, Chopin and Bartók, who gave the premiere of Bartók's Second Piano Concerto and of works by his brother-in-law Yehudi Menuhin's circle. He settled in Britain and became a naturalized citizen. He was Jewish, born into a Jewish family in the Austro-Hungarian lands.
