Eddie Pola (born Sidney Edward Pollacsek) was an American songwriter, actor, and radio and television producer, best remembered for co-writing, with George Wyle, the Christmas standard 'It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year', first recorded by Andy Williams in 1963. He also scored one of Britain's earliest sound films and produced radio comedy in the 1940s. He was born in New York City to Hungarian Jewish parents.
