David Crane is an American television writer and producer who, with Marta Kauffman, co-created the hit sitcom 'Friends' (1994–2004), one of the most successful comedies in television history, as well as 'Episodes' and other series. He was born into a Jewish family in Philadelphia. He is Jewish.
