Ben Mendelsohn

Ben Mendelsohn is an Emmy-winning Australian actor acclaimed for roles in Animal Kingdom, the Netflix series Bloodline, and blockbusters including Rogue One and Ready Player One. His paternal grandfather Oscar Mendelsohn came from a Prussian Jewish family among the first Jews naturalized in the province of Posen; his ancestry is thus partly Jewish, alongside Greek, German, and British roots. He is regarded as one of Australia's leading character actors.
