Rummikub is one of the world's best-selling tile games, combining the card game rummy with numbered tiles. It was invented by Ephraim Hertzano, a Jewish immigrant from Romania who settled in Mandatory Palestine and originally hand-made and sold the sets door to door. The game later became an international bestseller and remains popular worldwide.
