Marvin Glass's Chicago studio designed toys for every major American maker without putting its own name on a box. Operation — tweezers, a buzzing patient and a red nose that lights up when your hand shakes — came out of it in 1965, as did Mouse Trap, Lite-Brite and Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots.
