A Chorus Line (1975) is a landmark Broadway musical about dancers auditioning for a show, and it won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Its music was composed by Marvin Hamlisch, an American Jewish composer, and it was produced by Joseph Papp of the Public Theater, also Jewish. It ran for nearly 15 years, one of Broadway's longest-running shows.
